What Is Sculptra®?
Sculptra® is a poly-L-lactic acid-based facial injectable that restores lost facial volume for a fuller and more youthful-looking face. This lactic acid polymer actually stimulates the body to produce new collagen over time. Once injected, Sculptra® begins working within the deep dermis to replace lost collagen and reinforce skin structure. As it is absorbed, a collagen framework is provided to gradually restore volume for a natural, subtle result.
The final result may not be obtained until months after the injections. Some patients require a series of treatments to achieve optimal correction. Results can last up to two years.
