What Is the Alma™ Harmony XL Laser?
The Harmony laser does what creams and lotions claim to do but cannot: it causes the skin to contract and tighten for more youthful-looking contours. Treatment with the Harmony laser is also preferable to ablative laser resurfacing, which has more dramatic skin firming results but is more invasive, requires a few days of recovery time, and can cause post-treatment side effects and discomfort. The Harmony laser is able to deliver results without affecting the surface of the skin and causing unpleasant side effects.
How Is Skin Firming Therapy Performed?
During a laser skin firming treatment session, the Harmony handpiece is placed over the area of loose skin. The handpiece emits pulses of near-infrared light that penetrate the surface of the skin to the deeper layers of the dermis.
