What Conditions Can the Diolite 532 Laser Treatment?
The Diolite 532 can be used to minimize or eliminate the appearance of:
- Vascular lesions
- Telangectasias – Tiny red spider veins on the cheeks or nose
- Cherry angiomas – Small red, raised lesions

How Is Diolite 532 Laser Treatment Performed?
During treatment, the Diolite handpiece is placed over the lesion. The handpiece emits a pinpoint beam of laser light at a specific wavelength to the lesion. As the light passes through the skin, it is attracted to and absorbed by the color in the red blood cells of a vessel or the brown or black pigment (melanin) in a mole or spot. The laser energy turns to heat and destroys the vessel or fragments the pigment without disturbing the surrounding cells or tissue.
The destroyed vessel fades away almost immediately, and the fragmented pieces of pigment are filtered away from the body naturally. The destroyed vessel fades away almost immediately, and the fragmented pieces of pigment are filtered away from the body naturally. Some patients may require an additional session, depending on the number and severity of the lesion(s).

The treatment area may feel slightly warm for a few hours after the procedure, but typically resolves on its own. There is no downtime required after your treatment, and most patients return to your normal daily activities immediately following treatment.
